THE PHYSICIANS
Dr. Rachel Barry was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. She graduated from Lafayette High School in 2004 and then went on to graduate with honors from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. She earned her medical degree at Louisiana State
University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2013, where she was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Barry then completed her residency training in Otolaryngology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences in New Orleans, where she was trained to treat a diverse range of both simple and complex ear, nose and throat problems in adult and pediatric patients. While in residency, she published multiple scientific articles in several peer-reviewed medical journals and was awarded first place at her program’s annual resident research day.
She is board certified in Otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. She holds memberships in the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, and the Lafayette Parish Medical Society. She treats adults and children of all ages in all areas of Otolaryngology, with special interests in pediatric ENT, thyroid and salivary gland surgery, and nasal and sinus surgery.
She is thrilled to return to her hometown and join her father in an Ear, Nose and Throat practice that he established over 30 years ago. When she is not working, Dr. Barry enjoys traveling with her husband Patrick, cooking and gardening.

Dr. Robin Barry has practiced Ear, Nose and Throat here in Lafayette since 1983 as a board-certified Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon. This surgical specialty certifies him to practice Adult and Pediatric Otolaryngology, Otology, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, and Head and Neck Surgery.
He graduated from Lafayette High School and USL before admission to LSU Medical School. Training at New Orleans Charity hospital provided a broad education in Otolaryngology that has served well in treating the variety of disorders he sees.
In 40 years of practice Dr. Barry has trained ENT physicians in residency in New Orleans and Lafayette, and has served on multiple hospital appointments, including Women’s and Children’s Hospital where he was Chairman of the board of directors. As a member of Acadiana Otolaryngology, he enjoys a practice with his daughter in a contemporary Ear Nose and Throat office and has a particular interest in pediatric otolaryngology. When not in surgery or the office, he can often be found working on old muscle cars in his shop.
